Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Zimbul Apps LLC (“Zimbul Apps,” “we,” or “us”) handles information in connection with Job Profit Workbook, a downloadable Windows application, and the public website at zimbulapps.com.

It is written for the product as it works today. We do not invent practices we do not use.

2. Information Stored on Your Computer

Job Profit Workbook stores your workbook on your Windows computer. That can include:

That information stays in your Windows user profile. The application does not upload those workbook contents to a Zimbul Apps cloud database or to Stripe.

You can create a local backup of your workbook. Zimbul Apps does not keep a cloud copy of your jobs that we can restore if a computer is lost or a disk fails.

If you contact us for help, you may choose to send screenshots, backups, or other information. We only see what you send.

3. Information We Receive

We receive information when you:

Internet connections also involve ordinary technical information that hosting and payment providers may process, such as IP addresses and server logs. We do not claim those providers collect no such information.

4. Trial and Licensing

Starting a 7-day trial requires a one-time online connection. That connection sends limited registration and licensing information, which can include:

The identifier sent by the application is derived from a Windows computer identifier. The application does not send the raw underlying Windows identifier in the normal registration flow.

Our licensing service stores what is needed to manage trial and paid status for that computer. After a valid trial or paid license is stored on your computer, you can use the workbook without an ongoing internet connection.

5. Payments

Job Profit Workbook costs $199 one time. There is no subscription.

Purchases use Stripe Checkout. You enter payment-card information on Stripe’s pages. Job Profit Workbook does not collect or store payment-card numbers.

Stripe processes payment information under Stripe’s own privacy practices. Zimbul Apps can see merchant and payment information Stripe makes available to us as the seller (for example, that a purchase completed and related customer email if provided at checkout).

6. Website Contact Form

The public Zimbul Apps website is hosted by Netlify. The contact form may collect name, company, email, phone, and message. Netlify processes the submission. We use that information to respond to you.

The public website source we maintain does not include analytics or tracking scripts. Hosting providers may still keep ordinary access logs.

We use other companies to operate the product and website:

These providers support licensing, payment, and the public website. They do not receive your workbook, job, or customer contents from the application.

8. Data Retention

We keep licensing and purchase-related records as needed to provide the product, confirm a purchase, and handle support requests.

We have not published a fixed deletion schedule. If you want information updated or a licensing record reviewed, contact us.

Workbook files on your computer remain until you delete them, uninstall in a way that removes them, or the computer is reset or replaced.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect licensing and business information we receive. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We do not claim a specific encryption standard or security certification in this policy.

You are responsible for protecting your computer and any local backups.

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will change the effective date when we do. Continued use of the product or website after an update means you should read the current version.
